Essential oils & Safety

Therapeutic grade essential oils are derived from the natural aromatic compounds that give plants their individual scents. The oils are extracted through a process of distillation and expression. Extractions come from woods, roots, fruits, leaves, and florals. Research shows that using essential oils as part of aromatherapy has wide ranging health benefits, can elevate the aromatics in your home, repel mosquitos, improve sleep, boost moods or even help alleviate nausea. Always consult a licensed practitioner on proper use and dilution ratios when using essential oils.

Always consult a licensed practitioner before use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios. Also note that some essential oils can make the skin more sensitive in the sun and should not be used outdoors.
